Kasare, the rising music icon from UHAS and most sought-after musician in the Volta Region getting his name in the big shows has won himself six (6) nominations in the maiden edition of the Volta Music Awards 2018.
Kwawuvi Joshua Elorm known in showbiz circles as "Kasare" is a final year Physician Assistantship student in the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) blessed with a unique talent of making good music with outstanding lyrical content that gives his fans and music lovers a reason to be attracted to the kind of music he does.
The "Gomene" hitmaker told co-Host of UHAS CONNECT, Kafui Dey on a show that he has received nominations for six categories in the ongoing Volta Music Awards slated for the 10th of March, 2018.
Most popular song of the year,
Highlife song of the year, Hip life artist of the year, Highlife artist of the year, Hip life song of the year and Best collaboration were the categories the artiste featured.
He hinted how winning the awards in the nominated categories had the potential of pushing his music career further. He also admitted that the support students of UHAS have shown him since the inception of his music career has been incredibly overwhelming.
The "Melorwo" singer revealed that he is eyeing four awards out of the six nominations and is calling for support particularly his fanbase in UHAS who contribute the largest number of followers.

"I'll will like to thank the whole of my home (UHAS) for all their efforts and I entreat everyone not to only vote but campaign for me to raise the flag of our Nobel institution high and please let the votes come", he concluded.
