Abraham Norman Nortey appointed NAHSAG Volta/Western Regional Coordinator

The executive board of the National Health Students Association of Ghana (NAHSAG) on the 2nd of August, 2018 appointed the vibrant prodigy, Abraham Norman Nortey, as the new coordinator of NAHSAG Western/Volta Regional bloc for the 2018/2019 academic year.

The appointment, which did not come as a surprise to those who know the leadership capabilities of Mr. Norman, is a humbling feat for the Chairperson of the Intelligence and Students' Affairs Committee of the UHAS SRC, who also served as a member of the NAHSAG Electoral Committee for 2017/2018.

Armed with diligence, innovation and dedication, Mr. Norman believes he is a leader ready to create enabling platforms for the development of distinguished health professionals with liberating effect on the good people of Ghana at large.

Speaking to Campus Radio Correspondent, Ms Aisha Muktar, Mr. Norman expressed his willingness to channel his expertise  to ensuring the attainment of the aims of NAHSAG. He further revealed he is working in collaboration with his Secretary and Organizer to mobilize the SRC presidents of the thirteen institutions under his care.

As part of his agenda, Mr. Norman plans to organize a health outreach in the Volta and Western regions. He also plans to create platforms where students in the health sectors would interact with one another to share challenges and experiences.

As a visionary leader, Mr. Norman expressed the readiness of his administration to work towards the betterment of NAHSAG as a core mandate.
