IFED to hold IYDC'19 in Accra, Ghana

International Youth Diplomacy Conference (IYDC) is a flagship event of Innovation for Empowerment and Development (IFED) Global. It is an innovation of the Model United Nations Conference. A simulation of the United Nations General Assembly, Security Council and other agencies under the United Nations. It combines youths across Africa and beyond to discuss pertinent issues of Global interest. IYDC, mostly held in Accra, is educative as well as entertaining.

IYDC-Accra, 2019 will gather over 5000 youth leaders from 35 Countries to stay in Accra, Ghana, from the 16th of July to the 20th of July 2019, to experience the African Culture and the above-mentioned activities in a Global Leadership learning euphoria.

It is a combination of the several exciting activities which include:
Model United Nations Conference, Special Committee Session, The Elders (Forum & Panel Discussion), Ambassadorial Visit, Socials and Tours, Ambassadorial Dinner and Awards, Social Venture Challenge and Networking

Some of the objectives of the conference are to:
1. Build a network of like-minded youth leaders from Africa and beyond

2. Build global leadership skills through experienced speakers

3. Learn how and be abreast on presentation, speaking and writing skills.

4. Have a positive impact on youth’s social & psychological development

5. Bring change in the leadership style of Africa and affect the world positively

6. Encourage entrepreneurship among the youth in Africa.

7. Build both Local and international Networks
