Stop being a paparazzi and fight for students interest - Ben Brittle jabs SRC President
The outspoken alumnus said in a statement, "It's only in UHAS that the SRC President goes to council meeting and takes picture with the Registrar, post it on Facebook and answers no when asked if his people have a problem under the meeting. "Help us Lord", he added.
Mr. Brittle told Campus Radio Ghana of the numerous challenges students of UHAS are facing, some of which are pertinent. He mentioned that academic year fees have skyrocketed with outrageous charges for internet bundles amongst other items on the bill.
He expressed shock when all that the student leader could do about the issues was to post pictures of himself with the Registrar on social media.
The current administration is a few months young since they took over from the Afrane-led administration.
During their tenure, they piloted a Vodafone data plan which was largely successful except for the delay in implementing it. The new administration promised to expand the policy by raising the data bundle from 1.5 Gigabytes to 2.5 Gigabytes.
Students were awoken to the shock of their lives when they realized that they will have to pay GHC 144.00 for the Vodafone sim cards which was originally intended to be free.
He finally hinted that he has a lot of inside information about the SRC that he will unfold in the coming days. What does Mr. Brittle have on the Asare-led SRC that needs quite a while to release? Campus Radio like always would follow this issue and report events as they unfold. Stay tuned.

ReplyDeleteDoes it worth the time wasted to complain day in day our.
ReplyDeleteWe can't be seen doing same thing over and over again and be expecting different results, in a word this is insanity.
Let's stop the numerous talking and be seen doing something.
I was privileged to have served under the erstwhile Divine administration, key decision were taken among which is the issue of utility which of course as the then local NUGS president I can walk shoulder high with a pride badge to say I resisted it with all might.
The work becomes easier when we suggest solution than raining criticism.
Da yie... It is 1:26am here in Kigali City Rwanda.
