KASA 2018: Revolution Stirs Crowds To Cheer
KASA is an annual concert organised by the Poetic Justice Society (PJS) of UHAS to praise God in an exciting way through music, poetry, arts among others. The concert also seeks to raise funds to support creativity among students in basic schools.
KASA 2018, organised under the theme THE REVOLUTION, unraveled in amazing style to marvel the crowds, who could not resist the urge to burst into shouts of unexaggerated bliss. After such massive publicity, one could not have expected anything less.
With mindboggling musical performances from seasoned singers, coupled with heavenish poetry sessions and splendid spoken word interlude, the stage was lit as the heavens from the crack of the evening till the early hours of night.
The musical interplays were superbly executed by guest performers, who astounded the audience with spirit-filled heavenly songs. The poets churned out in their numbers to wow the crowds with amazing poesy, and the various instrumentalists did not fail to display their unique expertise which kept the show right on point.
Sweet and Spicy coupons were sold during the concert to provide a befitting nourishment and refreshment as well as raise funds to support the project of developing and promoting child creativity. PJS believes that every child has a creative gift which should not be looked down upon.
There were side attractions as well. There was awesome display of gorgeous African fashion products: beads, T-shirts, necklaces, wristbands among others. Not forgetting the free photoshoot session for those with coupons. Probably the most interesting part of it all is that KASA was free. No ticket needed, just free entry to the experience of revolution.
The program came to a joyous end few minutes before the clock hit 10pm, after an orgasmic experience of marvellous performances. Indeed, KASA 2018 is a night to be penned in diaries.
