Kerhans Foundation donates to Good Shepherd Orphanage

The Kerhans Foundation on Saturday 11th August, 2018 made a huge donation to the Good Shepherd Orphanage situated in Ofankor, Kasoa in the Central Region of Ghana. The humanitarian foundation has made its second donation since the beginning of this year and is not stopping any time soon.

The donation was a combination of drinks, toiletries, rice bags, gallons of oil, sweets, clothes and shoes amongst other items. The team feted the children with food and played games with them.
Gloria and Serwaa, leaders of the orphanage who received the items showered praise on the foundation and thanked them for touching the lives of the children in that unique way.

Founder of the Kerhans Foundation, Ms. Keren Hanson told Campus Radio Ghana that it  wasn't just a donation, but a symbolic gesture as well. She has called on individuals and non-governmental organisations who are also in business of assisting the poor and needy in the society to be more interested in building the intellectual capacity of the children through training and education.

According to her, the foundation has a lot of projects they intend to carry out and therefore will need the support of everyone who is passionate about helping the helpless in society.
