EPSU extends philanthropic gesture to Christian Charity School
Evangelical Presbyterian Students Union (EPSU) chapters on the campuses of the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) and the Midwifery Training School collectively demonstrated an act of kindness and love towards school children of the Christian Charity School last Friday 6th of April, 2018.
This is the maiden donation exercise the union has undertaken and it was graced by Mr Isaac Asamoah, one of the patrons, President of the Union, Azornu Cyril, Henry Dade Prosper, Secretary of the Union and other union members.
Secretary of the union, Mr. Henry Dade Prosper told Campus Radio Ghana that the union has a core mandate of rendering service to humanity and as a result, they scouted the municipality to identify vulnerable groups to assist and finally settled on Christian Charity School which previously was an orphanage until it was recently converted into a school.
The union made an enquiry of the needs of the School which informed their choice of donation to school. Some of the items included stationery like books, pens, pencils, crayons etc. and some toiletries.
The Assistant Headmaster of the School, Mr. Emmanuel Yao Opoku who received the donation on behalf of the School expressed his profound gratitude to the union and the team of organizers.
