We beat the record of the Maiden PHSA AWARDS - Joel Torvike 

The Public Health Students Association (PHSA) of the University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS) yesterday 10th March, 2018 celebrated their awards night and dinner in grand style. 

The event took place at the forecourt of the Binka Hall and was graced by some faculty members, student personalities as well as some distinguished guests who joined the ceremony. The Immediate Past Volta Regional NUGS President, Hon. Divine Kporha was presented together with the Federal Vice-President of the UHAS SRC, Hon. Appiah Martin Seth Porres. 

The attendance was massive giving the security a hell of a time to ensure no one maneuvers into the venue without ticket. The presence sponsors of the event, Vodafone Ghana, Indomie Ghana Limited, Top Ice Mineral water, Evergreen Multimedia, Nyame Ne Hene clothing and Campus Radio Ghana was felt as they had their labels in almost every corner of the venue.

There was lots of fun as the event was electrified with danceable tunes which got most of the attendees on their feet. The Awards were presented to the winners of the various categories and were done by the some guests. Below are the Awards winners.

In an exclusive interview with the Chairman of the Awards Committee, Hon. Joel Torvike, Campus Radio gathered that he was overwhelmed by the massive patronage of by the students. 

He expressed satisfaction in the overall program organization and boasted that they had broken the record of the maiden edition of the PHSA Awards and a new record has been set for that matter. 

He congratulated all the awardees and wished those who couldn't win the best of luck in their subsequent award ceremony.
