Kerhans Foundation touches lives
CAMPUS RADIO GHANA 21/02/2018
Kerhans Foundation touches lives.
Kerhans Foundation is an NGO that aims at educating the less privileged about reproductive health rights, human rights, and other socioeconomic policies. Among many other aims, they also seek to cater for the less privileged and abandoned people by providing them with their basic needs.
Karen Hanson is the second year student of the University of Health and Allied Sciences pursing Midwifery and the brain behind the foundation
It was in materializing these aims that the Kerhans Foundation on the 17th of February, 2018 embarked on a donation exercise to aid the less privileged in Dave village, a community in the Ho municipality. The event took place at the Salvation Army School in the community.
Kerhans Foundation presented a variety of items ranging from stationery, clothes and shoes to provisions like drinks, biscuits toffees etc. Aside that, the people present were also educated on reproductive health and teenage pregnancy and the kids were given a talk which admonished them to take their education seriously in order to become useful citizens in society.
To culminate the joy, the team organized fun games for the people which really brought much smiles and put loving memories in the minds of all who were present.
Kerhans Foundation entreats other NGOs, corporate bodies as well as individuals to take the chance to reach out to the less privileged in our societies to make Ghana a better place for all.
