Unfolding of NAMSA's Masquerade Ball Dinner and Awards Night
came off successfully over the weekend at the UHAS Trafalgar Auditorium, Ho, in grand splendor. The attendance was massive, with about 250 students turning out for the event, which was the first of its kind .
Prior to the main event of the evening, the Red Carpet session, obviously one of the most sought-after sessions of the night, presented an awesome sight to behold. Attendants, comprising nominees for the awards, student leaders and various invited guests seized the opportunity to flaunt their glittering costumes in glamorous styles.
After the welcome address by the Chairperson of the Entertainment Committee, Major Pap J, Hon. Obed Amenyo, former Provincial SRC President, Ho Campus, gave a speech on how student leaders can achieve their aims and also how students can offer their quota of support to school leaders as well. This was succeeded by crowd-cheering performances from various student artists in the likes of
Hess Wale Cyril and Pappy, Quame Key and others who did not fail to marvel the crowds with their amazing talents.
The awards session saw a number of deserving students take home enviable awards for various categories. The winners of the awards included:
