Progress made on the Nation Builders Corps (NABCO)

The core mandate of the National Executive Council (NEC) is to account to you all from time to time on the progress of projects undertaken. It is in this respect that we, NEC, have taken the pain to update the entire student populace as well as the graduate nurses and midwives on the progress made on the Nation Builder's Corps issue.

🌀To start with, there was a press release on the 27th of April, 2018. The message was well circulated on several social media platforms to help calm the agitations amongst our members and to advice them against applying to be employed under such a scheme.

🌀Several Radio stations have also been engaged- Top FM, Eastern FM, Light FM, Cape FM, Roc FM and Star FM- where several issues concerning NABCO were addressed as well as calling upon the entire Ghanaian society to help kick out such an unfair treatment. 

🌀Lastly, a strong team has been formed with some other Health  Students' Association such as NAHSAG, GNMTA, COUPON and the like. Several meetings and negotiations have been made to help battle out our concerns and just as the saying goes, "two heads are better than one." We hope to see a better outcome.

We would end by urging all students and graduates who cannot make it to the official launch today at KNUST, Great Hall to stay glued to their radio and television sets. NEC awaits your comments and inputs after the launch.
