Court places injunction on 2018 UEW SRC elections

COURT PLACES INJUNCTION ON 2018 UEW SRC ELECTIONS

News coming in to Students Accountability Forum indicates that the UEW SRC Judicial Board has placed an injunction on the 2018 UEW SRC Elections.

In an order cited by Students Accountability Forum, it states: with reference to suit number JB/04/18, the honourable  court writes to place a preliminary injunction on the 2018 SRC Vetting Committee Results and SRC Electoral Activities.

The order is due to a case brought before the honourable court by Musah Mohammed Ekililu herein known as the plaintiff for disqualifying him and his flag bearer herein known as Paul Abrokwa by the SRC vetting committee.

By the order, the court has withheld the vetting committee results and restrained the SRC Electoral Commission from proceeding with any SRC electoral activities until further notice.
