The Pentecost Students and Associates  (PENSA), UHAS chapter has marked its fifth year anniversary since its formation on campus. The campus-based Christian denomination with over three hundred student membership is one of the leading campus ministries. Theme for the anniversary celebration is "Celebrating the Goodness of the Lord", Psalm 145:7. 

Speaking with Campus Radio correspondent, Ms. Priscilla Arthur, the President of the group, Mr. Emmanuel Dzilah recounted that PENSA UHAS was birthed in 2013 with about twenty four (24) members.

He mentioned that three gentlemen of the 2012 batch spearheaded thr formation of the church group by seeking approval from the University management with Bernard Narh Apaflo becoming the first president of the association, Godsway Cudjoe Ansah the Vice president, Daniel Yaw Sarfo the secretary among others whose efforts saw the successful establishment of the campus-based ministry. 

Mr. Dzilah revealed that God has been their source of inspiration and was grateful to God for how far He has brought them as a church group. "Considering the growth of the church over this five year period, there is no argument that the inspiration of PENSA is their total dependence on the Godhead,

God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit", he said. 

The five-year anniversary is stipulated to begin from 14th February, 2018 to 18th February, 2018. Below is the program outline:

The President has appealed to all members and the entire student body to support them in every way to make the celebration grand and a remarkable one. 

In his final words, he thanked the membership for their dedication and commitment to the ways of God and urged them to continue with the hope that their labour will not be in vain.

Mr. Dzilah was astonished by the generosity of PENSA members and was very hopeful that they will give bountifully at the Fundraising event. 

"Let's hold unto our Rock of salvation and look up to Him in all spheres of our lives and He will never disappoint us", he concluded.
