 H.E AFRANE PIOUS CUTS SOD FOR SRC PROJECT

On Tuesday, 16th of January 2018, His Excellency Afrane Pious, the Federal SRC President cut sod to a novel SRC project chiefly intended to provide the need for a printing press at the permanent campus at Sokode Lokoe. The structure, expected to be a 35 × 20 unit container, will be funded by students' dues and shall serve multiple purposes including a shop, printing press and a radio station.

Mr. Nii Okornor Amos, chairman of the SRC projects and programs commitee disclosed in an interview with campus radio stringer Mr. Kafui Dey that the project, which has already started is going to take a while before completion due to possible obstacles as funding and delay on the part of the proles involved.

"For everything to be complete and set, I cannot provide a specific time albeit work is ongoing and the delay might not come from us but the proles, or any other unforeseen events may come in. But we do expect to be 78% done with the work before we hand over" , he stipulated.

More precisely, he added that the 35 × 20 unit container should be completed and laid on site, even if the necessary supplies are not procured in it for patronage before the termination of their term.

Campus radio understands that the SRC had to resort to laying down a container after management turned down their proposal to establish a permanent block monument forthwith.
